Summer, sun and clear water – the Lake Zell is one of the purest lakes in Europe with drinking water quality! The water temperature of up to 23° in summer, you can really enjoy your stay in and at the lake.

In our four lidos around the lake you will find many leisure and culinary offers.

Whether swimming or another water sport – you will be amazed by the Lake Zell.

At Lake the Zell you can also go stand-up paddling, pedal boating or canoeing, diving, surfing, kite surfing, sailing, rowing, water skiing or fishing. Of course, you can also take one of the excursion boats across the lake and enjoy the peace and the view of the surrounding mountains.

Attention: From 2025, parking at the Thumersbach and Erlberg lidos will be subject to a charge!

Important Information: New Parking Regulations!
From June, a new parking management system is applyed at the parking areas at the Erlberg bathing area and the Thumersbach lido – daily from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM until September!

30 minutes free
EUR 1.50 per started hour
Daily maximum fee: EUR 8.00
50% discount for visitors of the Thumersbach lido
Payment: contactless at the machine or via mobile app
No overnight parking for campers/mobile homes – Fine: EUR 150.00
Parking violations: additional enforcement fee of EUR 42.00
The system operates without barriers using license plate recognition.
