Sauna in Zell am See
Sauna world
Sauna – a treat for body, mind and soul.
Once you get a taste for sauna use, you dont´t want to miss it anymore. Whether spring, summer, autumn or winter – the sauna is an integral part of a wellness holiday at any time of the year and is the perfect conclusion to an eventful day of skiing or hiking in the wonderful Pinzgau mountains.
The word sauna comes from the Finnish language and means “sweat room”, although the bath in hot air originally comes from the north of East Asia. The advantages of the sauna were recognized there more than 1,500 years ago and the Romans also used the “Laconicum”.
Visiting a sauna has numerous healthy effects on the human organism: blood pressure rises, blood circulation is promoted and the blood vessels are kept elastic. Circulation, metabolism and breathing are stimulated in the sauna and the defenses (immune system) are strengthened. In addition, the peace and quiet in the sauna has a relaxing effect.
Beauty also benefits from visiting a sauna:
In the fight against orange peel and impure skin, a sauna is recommended: the hot and cold stimulate and tighten the tissue, stimulate blood circulation and flush out excess water and pollutants. It also creates an anti-appetite effect. After the sauna you will not only feel relaxed and a little tired, you will be also hardly hungry.
The psyche experiences a feeling of happiness when using the sauna. You have the feeling that you have done something for your health and that you have left everyday life behind you – you will be satisfied and relaxed. Try it!
